Chapmann Wong is a passionate concert pianist and dedicated music educator based in Hintonburg, Ottawa. An active performer and competition winner, Chapmann brings professional performance experience and high level artistry directly into his teaching.

His musical journey began at age five with piano and violin. He holds an ARCT certification, earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria (recipient of the Grace Swannell Memorial Scholarship), and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Piano Performance at the University of Ottawa on a Special Merit Scholarship. He has been a multiple winner at Kiwanis Music Festivals and has performed in numerous recitals and competitions throughout Canada.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Chapmann combines strong performance insights with supportive, student centered approaches. He draws from his active performing career to inspire his students for examinations and competitions.

An active chamber, orchestral, and teaching musician, cellist Keith Lau has performed Corelli’s Concerto grosso in G minor at Hong Kong City Hall and studied the Bartók String Quartet extensively with Csaba Erdélyi. The First Prize winner of the 2019 Tokyo International Youth Music Competition, he has appeared in solo and chamber settings across North America, Europe, and Asia. As an orchestral musician, he has toured Europe and performed under conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Dinuk Wijeratne, Ken Lam, and Jay Friedman.

Deeply committed to pedagogy, Keith teaches at Ottawa Suzuki Strings, working with young musicians in a supportive environment.

Keith earned his Master of Music in cello performance under Paul Marleyn. Keith studied with Laurent Perrin, Richard Hirschl. He performs on an English cello made by Colin Irving through a cherished pedagogical lineage, passed from Raphael Wallfisch to Laurent Perrin, and now entrusted to him.
